Project Details
The idea behind GameOn was to capture the energy of basketball in a format that could be enjoyed off the court. I wanted players to feel the thrill of making plays, taking chances, and outsmarting their opponents while keeping the rules simple enough for quick play.
Design Process
Game Mechanics: Developed rules and systems that balance chance (dice rolls, card draws) with strategy (player choices, resource management).
Visual Design: Designed the game board, player cards, and artwork to reflect the dynamic spirit of basketball while keeping readability clear.
Prototyping & Testing: Built early prototypes, conducted playtests, and refined mechanics to ensure fairness, excitement, and replayability.
User Experience: Focused on accessibility, ensuring the game was easy to learn but challenging to master.
“GameOn gives players the feeling of being on the court — every move is strategic, every play is exciting, and every game is different.”

Things I Did
I designed GameOn from the ground up, from gameplay mechanics to visual design. This included creating the rules, prototyping the board and cards, designing the artwork, and conducting play tests to refine the experience. My role combined creativity, problem-solving, and user feedback to deliver a board game that is both fun and thoughtfully designed.
